3, 2, 1, Race!
Tuesday, January 31st, 2012The 2012 Pinewood Derby was a couple of hours of fun and excitement for the cubs that participated. We are happy to congratulate the following winners!
1st Place: Timmy L. of Den 6
2nd Place: Orion G. of Den 3
3rd Place: Sean C. of Den 4
Best Design went to Alexander B. of Den 3 for his awesome Killer Whale car.
A hearty congratulations to all the boys and siblings who took the time to build their cars and show up to race. The finalists are invited to our District Race on April 21st in Shingle Springs. This is also the day of our Hornet Trip, but it looks like families should be able to attend both without much stress.
Thanks to all the parents who helped out with setup and tear down.
Troop 1855 Scout Olympics
Saturday, January 7th, 2012Friday night, January 6th, 2012 Troop 1855 hosted their Annual Scout Olympics. Pack 97 joined the other packs at the Folsom Sports Complex for games, music, pizza, a movie and lots of fun. The event started at 7:30 and the boys kept going until midnight. Thanks to everyone who came and participated!
