We’ve had a fun year with our boys and I want to thank everyone who showed up and helped out with our events, pack meetings, den meetings, parade, and everything else.  Next year Jane will be stepping down as Cubmaster and I will be filling that position.  Mike Burrage has graciously agreed to be the Assistant Cubmaster.   We will need to find a new Den Leader for Den 6 or have those boys join Den 3 for their Bear year.  We should work together on recruiting some new tiger cubs and a couple of parents to be den leaders.  That new Tiger Cub den will be Den 2.

If you can help, make yourself available so we can continue to create a great Cub Scouting experience for our boys.  Without the help of the parents, there is no scouting.

Join us for our camp out or at least show up on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. to join our planning meeting for next year.

Monday, 4/23 is our leadership meeting for our Blue & Gold banquet.  Leaders please show up so we can get all details worked out.

4/28 is our USS Hornet trip.  I’m excited about this one!  If you haven’t checked it out already, go visit The USS Hornet Museum website to learn about the ship and what we will experience while on board.

May 1st is our Blue and Gold banquet.  If you haven’t signed up to bring a dish, please do so in our Events section.

Our pack meeting on April 10th will be at the Cloutier’s home. See the details here. We will be earning our Skateboarding belt loop, so bring your protective gear and skateboard if you have them.  After skateboarding we will have a fire and discuss fire safety, do announcements, learn about religious emblem knots, sing a song, and maybe roast marshmallows!  So bring marshmallow sticks if you got em!  If it is going to rain, we will announce the meeting location to be at Carl Sundahl a couple of days prior.

We have an exciting couple of months coming up with the Hornet trip, Beals Point campout, and our Blue and Gold awards ceremony in May.  We will have a potluck at the Blue & Gold, so go to May Events and reserve the type of dish you would like to bring.

A hearty congratulations to all the boys and siblings who took the time to build their cars and show up to race.  The finalists are invited to our District Race on April 21st in Shingle Springs.  This is also the day of our Hornet Trip, but it looks like families should be able to attend both without much stress.
